December 2024 – Long Overdue Update For all my friends here at Renderosity.. Well, here we are waving good-bye to another year, and …. ummm…….welcoming (?) a new one. 2025 is upon our doorstep. First and foremost, yes, I will be continuing the TNA story as I have since May of 2010. As a caveat, I’ll say that I will work on it, create the art, and post as time allows. And I will also be posting other renders, photos, and so on. And I’ll do my level best to stay caught up on all of your delightful artworks, and comment on them. Right now – and for the foreseeable future – I have a LOT of irons in far too small a fire. I have been working for several months getting my mostly old (like me) systems tuned up, and getting the massive disaster area(s) of my file storage systems into some semblance of logical order. It will be nice to actually be able to find things, without taking 2 weeks to do it. I am also working with my newest system, getting it loaded up with the latest Photoshop version, and will in the next few days be (attempting to) get DAZ loaded back on, and hopefully it will behave itself, and actually work. In addition to all the computer stuff, Jo and I are looking forward to hopefully finding another place to spend however long we have left. I’m 76, and she’s 2 years behind me, so we hopefully have around 20 or so years. We would like to spend those years in a place where we feel a little more secure and comfortable than where we live now. When we first moved into this area, it was pretty nice. We had several friendly neighbors, and even though we have three busy thoroughfares to our west, south, and north, it was mostly quiet and peaceful. Over the last several years, we’ve had…. Let’s just say folks of lower quality, move into the area. We get lots of these damned fools with car stereos that resemble a mild earthquake and can rattle windows from three blocks away with those pounding base notes. Anyway, we’re doing some work on the inside of this place while the cold weather continues, and when it warms up, the outside work will go into full swing. I also hope to get started on a badly overdue and needed update of my website, “Rod’s Lair.” There’s a link below. I’m also planning on adding a bunch of new graphics / products to my RedBubble store, re-opening my Pixels / FineArtAmerica store, and opening one or two more. So, to wrap this up, I’ll still be posting TNA and other artwork / photography, but there may be breaks of varying length in between. I’ll need some time to relax in between all this other stuff; and creating art and hanging out with all my friends here is my favorite way to relax.
