Description
This is a work-in-progress of a depiction of an old Roger Dean series of 3-legged martian walking machines from War of the Worlds. I've been working head on this for awhile now. Kenny Mitchell modelled the head for me and I've been tweaking it. Let me know what you think.

I like the colors,not sure of the droppings of stuff on the heads (sensory organs?). Maybe you can work on them, the heads are perfect, but the sensory organs or whatever they are don't look very well positioned.

Looks nice. I like the texture. Maybe you could give the eye/window (?) area a little shine and reflection. :)

Very cool. The birds definitely give a sense of scale. Well composed, but don't be afraid to up the file size a bit to bring out the quality. The picture is a little grainy at 47KB.

Thanks for all the comments... the tenticles coming off the side of the head need some work. I'm not happy with the texture quite yet or the bundle of wires on the back of the head. The window still needs to be a bit more transparent and needs a better shine to make it look more realistic. This was just a rough rendering at low quality... as I continue working on it, it will get better. I assure you all! Tahnks again for the comments and keep them all coming.
