My friends and I tried some fancy butter tarts at the Winter Village in the Distillery District. They were delicious :) Top left one is raspberry (my friend wanted the dark chocolate raspberry one but they already sold out!), bottom left is the peanut butter and chocolate one, top right is the smore one and bottom right is the cheesecake one. Most of them had the flavours well mixed throughout the butter tart, but the cheesecake one - it was mostly cheesecake tasting in the cheesecake piece they gave with it, the rest was more just like a buttertart. Still delicious though! Though very sweet as butter tarts always are so if you need to avoid too high of sugar intake, you need to limit how many you try of these! Different prices depending on how many you got (the more you got the cheaper it got as you probably guessed!) The place sold many kinds of tarts, both sweet and savoury and also sold pies too (though I think those you had to heat at home as they came frozen).
