I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

You all have my sympathy. Storms like that are not something you want to deal with

Wonderful Firestone tracks packin'

Looks kind of nice ... if I was younger the first thing to pop into my mind would be to build a giant snowman:-) Imagine up north a while back when they got over 5 feet of snow!
RodS
5 feet.... Jeeze. I'd pack up and move to Arizona! LOL
contedesfees
That was normal this time of the year for Montreal, where I was born. But MISSOURI? Freaky, deaky!
JohnnyM
Wow this is a lot of snow you have there Rod, all in all I would rather have what you have than all the fires happening here in the Los Angeles area of California recently. It's unfortunate you have to shovel it out of the way, just take it easy my friend...easy does it! :-)
RodS
OMG, Johnny! I'll take this anytime over those fires, my friend - stay safe! I've seen the news reports and videos - it's like those apocalyptic horror movies! I hope you're far away from those.

Nice set of captures. Where I am we haven't had much snow at all so far this year.
A_Sunbeam
We had snow - but nothing like that!
Saby55
Here in Milan (ITALY) it hasn't snowed for several years and I have to say that I miss it a little. A hug RodS 🙋♂️

If it has to snow let it snow in January rather than April. We got one snow fall up here in Ontario, so we could say we had a white Christmas, Its been dingy green/brown so far this season, But you guys definitely have a lot more. I really miss the snow dumpings from year past. Like 4-5 feet worth, we just don't see piles of snow like we used to.

Ironically, wildfires are breaking out in Los Angeles' Palisades. Hopefully it'll subside quickly.

Just a tip; once summer comes get a couple of 10lb or 20lb bags of salt if you can. Keeping those in the garage saves a lot of shovelling if a big snow comes, clearing it just becomes a tedious chore rather than hard physical labour. Sprinkle it thinly and do it more than once if needed, you use less of it that way. Buying it in the summer when there is little or no demand is a lot cheaper.
Good to hear that you got through this without any harm, and that the family transport doesn't struggle in the cold!
I look forward to that TNA episode as always. Keep safe!

Winter :)
Nice shots

out what it looks like here also, was a 9 degrees at 7 am. 26 now. brrrrrrrrr! California could use some of this right now to help out the deadly fires. cool cold capture Rod.

Luckily for you, Rod, I used up the first 5 inches of the snow that hit you guys!! Stay safe!
RodS
Hey, thanks for that! LOL I wish I could figure out how to ship all this snow to Los Angeles to help put out all those fires.
mifdesign
Nice photos but too much snow.. I'd better wait for the hot TNA girls, that's hotter vibes.😊💝🥰 You just can't ship the snow to Los Angeles because sheeps don't like snow too much..😂 I guess..
shadelix
So there's where all the snow went. LOL
We hadn't got any snow this season ... at least none that reached the ground to stay some minutes.
Nice photo shoots.
PhthaloBlue
WOW! You have a lot more snow than we do, and we're a lot farther north. Used to be normal for us, back in the day! Take care.
thekingtut
What is that white stuff on the ground? Is it ash from a nearby volcano?
g1tip
Much the same here, in Greater Cincinnati. I've been knocking monster stalactite-like icicles off my gutters daily since Monday. So, I can definitely relate to the last picture. We've got another snow storm on the way, as I type this. It's most likely already passed through your neck of the woods. Keep warm !!!!
AmandaT
Wow you really got hit with full on winter! The plus side though is you got a bunch of lovely photos out of it.
Wolfenshire
If you wait long enough, the situation will resolve itself without any effort. Anyway, I want a box of that snow. I was watching a video about how to make snow ice cream. Open a little side business and make some money off all that snow. The last time it snowed in Phoenix was 1990 with .02 inches falling.
OmniFX
The winter wonder land. Lots of snow and lots of work to shovel the sidewalk. However, it looks like a nice cloudless day and the sun will make is melt fast.
Jollyself
now THIS is the exact reason I moved from Chicago to Florida 34 yrs ago...yikes

Thanks for posting your photos. Here in Cape Breton, we occasionally get hit by about 3x what you see in these photos, in a 2 day fall from mid January to late Feb. Shoveling soft snow is cool but mixed with intermittent ice rain, it can get exhausting fast. Note: road salt can be toxic to pets and small wildlife. My sympathy to the folks dealing with massive fires in the USA and Europe.
jan_scrapper
Beautiful!! We have snow in Texas tonight!!
UteBigSmile
What nice captures you made - A lot of snow, try to keep you both warm lil brother!
romangirl
One inch from several days ago is at last gone. Nice picture.
ikke.evc
Same here, last of the one to two inches of snow melted under the rain. Just two or three days of sun here, always grey, fog or rainy.
MajinBoo
Great photos! Snow is always more enjoyable for me personally to see photos rather than deal with the real thing. Last real blizzard I had to deal with was in 2011. We got some snow this winter but nowhere near as much as you.

Excellent photos
