BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

Have to agree with Calanthe... I thought about a mother and her unborn child at first glance. Very sensitive image which made me think about some things... Thanks for this one! Your images are like the sayings one can find in some calendars. It's always good to think about life every day and enjoy every moment of it for being unique and very special. I think you know what I want to say... Phil :)

All your great pictures are really like gifts. Very pleasing to the eyes.

Beautiful as your art always is. This is like the 'music of the spheres'; a cosmic symphony or song of praise to creation.

I thought also of a mother... protection and love. Beautiful, because you conveyed it with an abstract shape, so it's undoubtely art undergoing the whole process. Excellent pic, and a vote too.

As always - beauty, sensitivity. Your talent is so rare and unique - that you can sculpt in a medium other than stone to create a vision for each to interpret in thier own fashion. I do love to visually "feel" your works of art. Perfection is so difficult to describe isnt it ... Thank you for another very pleasurable view. BTW friend SeraphimZion; yes, these artists do read and respond. They create for pleasure as is so obvious - not for rankings as I have noted previously. Vandaler is right - your every work is like a gift, a smile each time at the very least. Now if you could just teach the cats to talk also ... LOL. :-D

Reminds me much of the geometry of life, I see many forms and shapes, all representing the begging and end of time. This spiral is wonderful

I agree with everyone. This definitely reminds me of mother and unborn child. This is a subject that I am especially fond of.
