Description
The flickering torch that had slipped from the princess's hand burned weakly, casting dancing shadows on the ancient stone walls. Her breaths came in gasps, blood dripping from her fingers as she tried to pull herself away. But the creature with glowing eyes and elongated claws was already crouched over her, a diabolical grin on its lips.
Before the vampire could complete his grim act, footsteps echoed nearby, and moments later, a guard emerged from the dense fog. Startled, the vampire glanced at the armored warrior, wondering if he could take on such a formidable opponent.
