Description
~Ren & Stimpy Beachball Girl~
This is one of the beach girls from the Nickelodeon "The Ren & Stimpy Show" (1991-96) TV series. Created by Canadian animator John Kricfalusi, it has revolutionized animation with its bizarre and often controversially twisted dark humor centered on the dysfunctional relationship between Ren, an unstable chihuahua, and Stimpy, a dimwitted cat.
Defying children's animation norms, the show featured surreal imagery, dark humor never seen on TV before and a distinctive animation style. This boundary-pushing approach has significantly impacted the industry, paving the way for more adult-oriented animation and influencing shows like "Beavis and Butt-head," "Rocko's Modern Life," Adult Swim programs, and even "SpongeBob SquarePants," demonstrating that animation could explore daring themes and appeal to wider audiences despite its controversial nature.
3D pose and camera set in Poser, exported with my OpenPose plugin, rendered in Stable Diffusion, postwork in PaintShop.

If you all have never seen the episode "Space Madness" I almost fell out of my chair laughing. And I love this render.

The reason I wanted to bring attention to this old forgotten show was because it has revolutionized the industry, paving the way to how animated shows have become nowadays. 🙂

I feel the need for a trip to the beach, all of a sudden! Not many beaches in Missouri.... Especially with sights like this! Awesome work as always!
I did manage to catch a few R & S episodes..
