Description
So the AI assist debate ranges on, and while I am not particularly a fan of it, it is undoubtedly capable of spectacular results in the right hands, as ably demonstrated by some of the artists here on Rendo (though equally there is a ton of chaff, but that's also true of 3d renders too). In any case, I thought the best way to learn about it was to explore it for myslef.
Most of my dabblings to date have been essentially fruitless, but on occasion, something works out. This piece was initially inspired by the windows of the church of the holy trinity in Sloane Square, not far from where I live. Its interior is remarkable; largely a product the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century with windows designed by Edward Burne-Jones and made by the William Morris Co. I'd long tried (and failed ) to get that stained glass feel in a render, and thought to give it a spin witht he help of the ghost in the machine... that, with a modicum of 2d work and tweaking yielded this, which I thought I'd share.
Burne-Jones himself subscribed to the opinion that something of beauty has intrinisc worth, its beauty essentially contributing to making the world a better place. My thoughts on this are not so lofty; the fish motif is pretty random (even though the sea is a feature of the story) but it is, i think, rather decorative nonetheless....

Nicely done. People don't realize that to get something that is excellent in AI, it takes a lot of time and experimentation to learn how to use it. Just like anything. - Bob
