Description
This took a long time to make. 4 weeks. It has 2,837,719 polygons, 86 groups, and over 800 meshes.
This is my 2nd attempt at the Golden Gate Bridge. I might do another with the Bay Bridge in the background to make it more realistic.
I also did this in true stereo 3D which can be seen at http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/turdy/images/GoldenGate3D.jpg You will need 3D glasses to view it.

This is magnificent work. Very detailed even down to Alcatraz Island. The skyline of the city is very impressive and your attention to detail is far better than most.

very nice! makes me long for San Fran...I really like the wake the boat is leaving...how did you make that?

Very cool picture of San Fransico. I like the railings on bridge, I wonder how you got them curved like that? Could you tell me how you did that. Excellent picture otherwise.

the wake was made in terrain editor. I made a triangle and put grooves in it and added a water texture. You can make a curved line from two flatten spheres slightly offset. make one positive and the other negetive and group together.
