~Catwoman IV~ The Catwoman was one of my favorite characters from my teen years, especially after Michelle Pfeiffer played Selina Kyle in the Batman Returns (1992) movie. Her Catwoman was the only live-action version where Selina Kyle literally becomes a "cat lady," complete with a supernatural connection to cats, feline behaviors, and a home filled with strays. This was also first live-action version to feature a patchwork bodysuit. This unique costume design became iconic and set her apart from previous and subsequent portrayals of the character. The patchwork design reflected Selina’s fractured psyche and her journey of self-reinvention after her near-death experience.
