A week ago, the last place Mel Larskine expected to be was on the fringes of the Outer Rim worlds, but a week ago, her sister Tien wasn't missing from her University Break trip to Melogan. Melogan was supposed to be safe. A resort planet, popular with Uni students for their mid-semester holiday. Tien had gone with her roommate T'nala and both were now missing. Be patient, the authorities said, but no one seemed to be taking it seriously. Mel cashed in her dream of graduating from The Academy, used their Net resources without authorization to find out Melogan was no where near as safe as people believed. It was a Hutt hunting ground. Young women of several species regularly went missing. Mel went AWOL, Absent With Out Leave. She assumed she was cashiered, but didn't care. She was on Talan to find her sister. All she needed was a local guide and she had a lead on one that was supposed to be trustworthy.
