Description

Coming back after Winterlicious and a full day out of just hanging out with friends, saw the moon and another bright light in the sky. Not sure if it was a really bright star or another planet but it was nice to see the moon with a friend :) #Sky #Night #Moon

The bright light is probably the star Regulus. It is a very bright star and expected to be in this position. Nice capture!

The most prominent Object besides the Moon is Venus! ;) We had a nice conjunction of Saturn, Jupiter Venus and Moon last month! (Mars and vaguely Neptun are visible only in the Dawn and with Lenses! Greetings ...

There is an app called "Star Chart" which I got off of the Google store (for free) that works really well at telling you what you are seeing. Has add-ons you can pay for as well, but the basic (free) app does a really good job by itself. I think it is available for apple as well (I have a Pixel 7 Pro)
