Oh, what an excellent look back to the '50s! I remember many of these little gas stations from my youth. My Dad was in the US Air Force for 20 years, and every 4 - 5 years he'd be transferred to another base. We took many trips through those years, and stations like this were a common sight back then. This really puts a smile on my face - awesome work, my friend!

Hey wow that is great, and so wonderful to have such fond memories of your father. I took care of my dad after he came down with A.L.S. It was so hard to see him get weaker as time went on. I was not by his side when he finally passed and maybe a good thing. I went home from the nursing home that day to take a nap and was woken by the phone call he had passed away. I drove back to the nursing home crying in a sureaal state of mind. He was the reason I am the man I am today. Now here I was looking at him as though he was asleep. It's funny how you never know how how strong you can be at times. My mom called for the coranor as I waited for him to arrive I prayed for my dad and I. Would you believe I helped the coranor to put my father in the body bag? Not long after this I bought Poser 11 and started to really get into rendering as a way to keep me occupied. Your story of your dad and you touches me deeply, so I thank you for sharing your story.
