Good job with the hair. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I found the Natural Brushes in Photoshop to be fantastic when used with the airbrush in either screen or multiply mode.

For doing hair in photoshop I usually create my own brushes.. it can easily be done by creating a new image about 10x10.. place a few black dots on the page with the pencil tool, select all and define brush.. results are usually pretty good. Nice job, I enjoy doing my own hair in photoshop too for certain images it really works well.
