T.Rex
A good start- Poser 3? Wow! Angle upper arms so they're in line with forearms, pull out shoulder joints, body hangs lower- He's hanging by the arms. Nails through wrists (hands flesh can't carry the weight=nails tear out). Longer, split beard. Check image on Turin Shroud for accuracy.

id have to agree with T.Rex...also he needs to be a little more muscular...carpenters in that time used crud tools and were more closely considered to be like a mason of today..this trade required a physic..not neccessarily a body builder, but u get the point.:)

The Turin shroud is a 14th Century fake according to carbon dating, not that that deters the faithfull at all :) A well executed picture :P

I think this is great work, and if you ask me, he could have looked like that! And about the muscles... I have a friend who looks slim and not very muscular, but when he lifts up something.... well... THEN you see the muscles! This is an excellent image, imho.

This is absolutely gprgeous work. As to the technical details, nails through the wrist, muscles etc., I'd have to say that they are somewhat irrelevant, the symbolism is more important than the details
