Description

Hello dear friends, This is the first Red Admiral butterfly (also known as Atalanta) I spotted in our garden. I think it was warming itself in the sun — grin — maybe it was meditating, who knows. In any case, I was happy to have noticed it. Thank you for your visit, and I wish you a lovely day (or night), Jacomina :) #RendoSeasons2025

When I try to take a photo they either fold the wings or fly away. Wonderful photograph !

Oh, this is a fantastic photo, Jacomina! Just look at the detail - you can actually see the fuzz on this little beauty's back! Wow!

Full size, this is another of your beautiful and shimmering macros of nature. The detail on the buttefly's wings is soft and beautiful. The wings almost look like an old drawing that has aged and cracked! And the antennae look like they're made of fiberglass! (glasvezel?) The dark shadows help the butterfly "stand out". And I love the light on those leaves.

This is beautiful, Jacomina. No matter what art you create, your photos are always gorgeous, loving and consummate. Every time you post photos, you remind us how beautiful a photographer you are.

Jacomina, my computer is starting to crash again...I'll comment more in the next few days. I will repair it this week (or replace it). But it doesn't last as long as I want, right now. You've posted wonderful work, recently, and I'll get to it all.
