Description

Here's a change of pace, this is an illustration I did combining pencil, ink, Photoshop, FreeHand and ....TA-DA...Ray Dream Studio. I won't make a habit of posting images that are this 3-D deficient, but I thought that it would be nice to show how RDS can be used in a slightly different way. By the way, Ray Dream was used to create the big check.

? I'd love to know how you used Ray Dream and the rest to create this. This is a fabulous work of illustration.

I created a texture map of the check in FreeHand, then mapped it to a free-form model. I did some Photoshop work on the final render to get it to blend in with the rest of the hand-drawn illustration. I'm still not 100% certain that this combination works, but it was interesting giving it a shot.
