Description

Here's a snake from volume 1. They should be slithering to you in about a week or so... The Common Adder is extremely widespread and can be found throughout much of Europe, and as far as East Asia. It has been the subject of much folklore in Britain and other European countries (yes, this is the snake that Saint Patrick expelled from Ireland). It is not considered to be threatened, though it is protected in some countries. It feeds on small mammals, birds, lizards, and amphibians, and in some cases on spiders, worms, and insects. This snake is venomous. It is not aggressive and usually bites only when really provoked, stepped on, or picked up. Bites can be very painful, but are seldom fatal.

This is so realistic that I feel like I am right there, waiting for the snake to finish crossing the path!
