Description
Hi all and Monday here so that means shopping and then catching up here :)
This was inspired by some recent works I had seen in Jazzie's Gallery like 'Head Roll' so my muse went to work and came up with this. I also included a straight render without the Godray. All straight renders out of Daz, no postwork except of course the fake document I created in CS3.
Scene is a single spot light nothing else and includes some 13 actual characters and 11 instances plus cave props. The system seemed to handle this well although was starting to slow down a little in the preview pane.

Internal Memo #426
A new archaeological find is all the talk in the field of academia this week.
Famed Professor (P.J.H) of Archeology has for the first time release a capture of his find from a currently undisclosed location. (Refer INT_MEMO #421.695.010a)
His team stumbled across a cavern after receiving unusual readings during a routine ground penetrating radar sweep in a currently active dig.
What they have revealed is difficult to fathom.
At first the common thought was a highly detailed hand carved depiction of a mythological event, a representation of a long told folk tale from the region, hidden in this previously inaccessible and unknown cave system.
The highly detailed sculptures underwent further examination and the results of the tiny core samples have raised more questions than answers for it would appear that under stringent Lab testing, the samples contain human tissue and a currently undetermined biological material.
Although all materials are crystalline in structure, they appear to be dormant rather than fossilized.
Our attempts to find out more on this discovery has fallen on deaf ears as all communication to the dig site has been lost and has been this way for several days now without explanation.
Satelite images reveal no activity currently at the site. It appears to be been abandoned.
Officials have dispatched a recovery team in an attempt to re-establish communications.
More to come....

Uh-oh! This could be dangerous -- proceed with caution. Those samples could be part of a bio-weapon, similar to those advanced nanomorph super-droids, but created for war and terror. I wonder who the maker was?
Very creepy scene!

Could be some truth in your words there Max....Have to see if they ever find an answer and then decide to share the truth with us all....Thanks Max :)

Makes me have another look on cathedral gargoyles. Wonder if they are "dormant" also.
Steff_7
According to some folk lore they are sleeping in plain sight and very much alive :)
