Hi.
I had a dental procedure yesterday that knocked me out, so this will be briefer than I'd like...but I wanted to thank everyone for artist of the month, who supported me and have done so for so many years. It's all greatly appreciated. And to PJEditor for doing a really fine job of the announcement and interview. And Michelle (msansing) for her help and recognition as well. Thank you everyone. I'm very grateful.

If I could, I’d fly over to you with a bottle of champagne — actually, make that two! We’d pop them open and give each other a champagne shower. I can totally picture it, what a blast we’d have! So tell me, Mark, what would we toast to? There’s so much good to celebrate, so many reasons, so much joy, we’d be entertained for hours! (And yes, that’s a Dutch phrase with a cheeky double meaning 😉)
And then I look at your magnificent photos, each one more stunning and spectacular than the last. Honestly, that final one… it could literally be the champagne droplets from our celebration! All three shots are absolute showstoppers, they burst right off my screen.
So with all my heart, Mark: a huge, heartfelt congratulations! You truly deserve this — “dubbel en dwars” as we say in Dutch (meaning: absolutely, unquestionably well-earned).
Just a moment ago I said I had no words (when looking at my own “Bird Fractal”)… But then I saw your photos — and suddenly, there was a waterfall of words! (Yet another classic Dutch expression.)
You go Mark, and enjoy your new teeth, just say 'cheese' and make a selfie, hoping this will be your next upload,....please ♥

Congratulations again. You do deserve the honor and recognition, your gallery is filled with wonderful things. These 3 photos are spectacular. The color and light is amazing. The motion in the last one is the reason you seserve artist of the month... bravo!
