Description

This sketch was referenced from a sketch I found om the Web a few years back. The original sketch was drawn on 18 August 1996 with a B Pencil. I could not make out the name of the person who sketched it. If it looks familar to anyone, let me know and I will gladly give credit. I used a 5H pencil, .3mm, and .5mm mechanical pencil. Finishing touches were accomplished in PSP7. The Rose is a Tube from PSP 7. Thanks for taking a look!...Cheryl

I looks like maybe Leroy Burrell. A very strange genesis for a sketch. That it works is I believe your message. The thrust of the right leg and the pull from vertical to folded to the side of the left leg are classic. The Santa Monica Track Club athletes all had that upper body develoment. Cool practice, dominant competition.

Again a really wonderful sketch Cheryl in your own classic style, this is in itself quite an achievement, I think I could spot one of your works if I had never seen it before!!

This one is outstanding as all of yours Cherly. As I have said before, and will say once again, you are an inspiration, without your inspiration, my son and I would not have started to share in sketching again. Outstanding my friend, and I do consider you a true friend.

It's never easy to catch powerful motion and physical effort with pencils.. but you managed it very nicely dear :)
