Hi, it's been a while, but Steff_7 has managed to render it again (damn it ^^). A rather simple portrait of one of my favorite Star Wars characters and one of the most iconic weapons ever. No, I'm still not satisfied with it...
As always, no post-processing or AI stuff.

Sorry about that...maybe we need to catch up so we know who is posting what, when...lol
This is superb, light and that wicked DOF. I play with the opacity on the light sabre layers to try and soften things up a bit....sometimes works...sometimes not but light sabres are the hardest to render straight out of Daz I think.
Love this and a fave for me :)

Hi, since I'm using a translator, it's possible that I misunderstood it and/or what I wrote didn't fit my context :) Regarding rendering, I always proceed the same way. Gamma 1.7 (2.2 just looks meh). Then I play around with the tone mapping until it's right. For glow, I use the bloom filter, which is difficult to use because it applies everything to the entire image (btw, I hate post-processing ^^). My renders always look dark because I simply like lowlight...
