Description

"Zrie's undead army emerged from the forest as the sun emerged with the dawn. Driven on by thier undead lord's will, the army swarmed up the rocky ridge and slammed into their target." Well, its done. Hope you like it. Thanks for hints and tips along the way. Now I can move onto smaller, less ambitious pics with a free conscience. sturkwurk - I tried a few closer camera positions when I was first setting the scene up, but I lost the scope I was after. Have some future images in my head that will be a bit closer to the action :) . danamo - yeap, planning and organisation is one of the biggest things about this image. Luckily I'm an engineer, so I find organising only a moderate impossibility ;) . queequeg - WETA can eat anything they want, as long as they spit their render farm in my direction :)

What can be said that hasn't already by some of the most well received and well respected artists in the 3D arena? Flak, you are truly inspiration to all of us. You also fill me with a sense of dread... dread that I will never be able to come close to matching the sheer genius of this piece. You should hold your head high for the rest of eternity.
