Description
Hi there here is my latest work, it was meant to be loosely based on the Gollum creature from LOTR, but I did not want to totally copy it I wanted to try and make mine more human like. I'm not sure if it really worked and if I could go back I would change some things about it, but I'm finished with it now and I'm reasonable happy with it I guess.

Yes, imagine Smeigel before he came in contact with The Ring, and basically, became Gollum. Smeigel as a 'man'.....destined for schizophrenia. Poor Smeigel. Superb work, Julian. And more great work on your site.

I've seen the mesh, I've seen the texture map and i'm still having a hard time believing my eyes! This has got to be the most realistic looking anything I've seen on this site ever! Fantastic!

Utterly fantastic!!! I haven't seen ANYONE render better. If you can figure out how to realistically animate this character, you're a genius with the patience of God. My suggestion is to scan these lovelies to high quality c-prints and sell them for a fortune in a fine art gallery.Do a whole collection of human-like creatures with shy, crazy smiles and listen to the cash register. Forget ILM, open your own shop!

I look upon your work and am in total awe. The realism and emotion in your characters is just astounding. Great job. I am upset that the ranking only goes ot Excellent, for this work is MUCH better than even that.

Words don't do this picture the justice that it deserves, it is truly amazing, if you're not working for a big film company then this world is more screwed up than I thought, (GOLLUM!, GOLLUM!), if you ever find the time to share your skills you'd be making a lot of Maya users v happy. And my praise doesn't stop there because not only is your Maya ART abilities far beyond mortal men, but I've been to your site and have seen your awesome 2d work as well! Another excellent work. He is amazing as these personages see themselves so pretty. This in concrete it remembers much the cratura to me Golum of the Gentleman of the ring, but in epoca present. I congratulate to you and that God conserves east talent to you that you have.
