Description
A lone F-14 gets shot down by an Aegis F-280 fighter. This is a pic for my website to show the beginning battle I titles battle of the oil fields. Please rate or comment I value everyones opinion.
F-14 from Lightrom I made the missiles and F-280. The ground is a dem of grand canyon that I modified.

Nice Idea. I would definatly work the textures and the shading a lot. Also use your mesh edit to smooth some of the sharp lines. I realise some of the aircraft have sharp lines but, play around and you'll see what I mean. Finally use a volumetric cloud for your smoke. If you have photoshop you can go in a do a little post work to get the smoke and fire right. I have an early image where I did a similar type of pic using WWII fighters Its posted in the Bryce gallery. Its called "textbook takedown" the planes are messed up but the smoke and fire look right. Keep trying its a good theme.
