with a grateful nod to Mr Frazetta..here is my latest offering.....kind of wandering off down the path of "seing just how far from my tight graphic renders i can go" LOL

Wow. The texture on the tree trunk is really tactile. But hey, I think the branches in the top of the image don't follow through. When you've got that level of realism in one area of the image, others look much less realistic, see? It becomes sort of inconsistent.
