You know the letter "t" in american sign language is the exact same symbol as the "fig" used in the 1500-1600s, the fig is the modern equivalent of the contemporary "middle finger", used as an obscene gesture. An impressive bit of painting, by the way.

There are three words that come to mind whenever I visit your wonderful gallery Rick - 'diversity, creativity, and enormous skill'. There are precious few in these forums who come anywhere near your unique imagery nor your masterful execution of subject. Many are very thought provoking, and this render n signing is no exception. I absolutely love how each of the hand signs are super-imposed over a graphic of the letter represented, and the aesthetics of color harmony are excellently done. This would make an excellent poster on the walls of Sign Language Institutes the world over. Impressive and skilled work Rick. Excellence!
