Nice to see you posting again. :o) Looks pretty good. The lighting is a bit too even, you might want to go with an HDRI render. Also the wood grain is a bit too predictable, makes it look a bit like a faux wood plastic laminate. Modeling is done very well.

Very nice but try enabling radiosity, interpolated if monte takes too long but good modelling

i agree with the other guys. NIce modeling. but the light is kiling all feeling of dimension try a spot with a slight gold or blue color comming thru the window with radiosity or something. like mentioned above. Also, try breaking up the spec on the floor and doors. it's too evenly shiney. Put more of a bump on the fireplace bricks. Also, the color maps on the ceiling seem very saturated. I'm not sure if it's the lighting. It may look better with the new lighting. If not, try desurating it a bit. Anyway, your off to a good start! hope this helped a bit. Good Luck. Pete

Thanks for all the feed back! I really appreciate it. Yeah, the lighting in these shots is nothing more then a point light with a little orange tent, I usualy save my lighting for last, since there will be several different lights in the room. The paneling will get replaced with indivual panels with a little dirt and grime on them. Well, I'm off to start making furniture...

ya change the lighting and add a little Volumetric lighting and there would be a big difference, the room has potential, do some blur on the reflections you u use any reflections that would help
