Description

This picture is somewhat of a sequel to my Cloud Cities pictures. After a serious hit from a pirate, the Manta went down the swamps shown in Cloud Cities II from above. I've refined the spacesuit a little, and had a lot of fun with swampy water... Special thanks go to Thomas Krahn, whose Large "Vue"s tutorial helped me a lot with the background construction. Enjoy!

I am a science fiction fan and I love pictures telling stories. Very impressive. maybe you could have painted the sky making, it more "heavy" it could have strenghten the dramatic effect of the scene ? this girl is not gonna get back home soon ! But that's only my story (your picture is telling me ) you've maybe have an other one in mind ?

EXCELLENT!! Loved your Cloud Cities...this is just getting better. Reminds me of the 'ANALOG Science Fiction' magazine covers from the 50's and 60's

Thanks to you all for your comments. Being compared with the artists of book covers is a big compliment :) JATROU: I've experimented with several skies, also more cloudy ones. I took this one, since it reflects the heat of a swamp so well.
