A 3dsmax image... I am currently working on creating around 2 miles of a highway where I live... I'm trying to keep it as low poly as I can, since I'm really into video game type modeling, because the texturing is so much more exciting, to me at least. The face count so far is 7513. All of what you can see right now is only 8% complete of my entire project, and the single frame is around 32% complete. Major focuses include: Trying to make sure the style of the environment is so close to the style of my city that even someone who's lived here a while would have to look twice to figure out the differences. Mind you, I'm trying to add creativity to the animation, so the buildings, while staying within the same style buildings, like gas stations where the gas stations are, banks where the banks are, and so on, I'm not going to use any of the same building styles, names, textures, just location and types... and the environment will have the same shape, like the highway would curve the same way, and have hills and all that stuff, as well as the exact same bridges and things like that... this should be a really cool project for me :D For those of you who have been following the thigs I've posted before, I'm going to be posting many of my vehicles in the WIP Gallery.
