Description

I went to work today. All the comments heavy on my mind. I work for one of the largest retail business. Wal-Mart. Which is scattered all over the world. As I looked around, there was a mix of races, religion, handicapped, and everything else. So I began to talk about the comments that my picture recieved. Many many different veiws did I get. But a small group of ladies and men on my lunch break said something that I will never forget. Everyone seems so caught up in this damn war, they forget the victims of Sept. 11, I sat quietly listened. It was said what were we suppose to do? Say awww, all those brothers, sisters, moms, dads, husbands, wives, uncles, aunts, boyfriends, girlfriends, sons, daughters, children that were killed, that is should be okay? And to let it pass? Not only that did they mention, may I add many hate war, have family right now across seas, but also there were people killed from all over the world in that attack. Yes that's right, innocent people, not JUST AMERICANS! So with all this said and done. I will NOT apology for being AMerican, nor will I be shamed of who I am. I am proud to be AMERICAN. May God bless the USA. I think in the heat of war. We have forgotten why it started. I think someone said innocent slaying of people, even children. What of those of sept.11 that didn't have a chance? Aren't they innocent? Think about it. What of those that were visiting the USA. Aren't they innocent? Once more think about. I have said my peace. Thanks for Veiwing. ~D.M. Ander~

Amen! For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord! (Romans 8:38,39)

Right on! Very, very well said and depicted. Only lunatics love war, and it's these very lunatics we aim to stop. If some people out there can't tell the difference, best they leave their heads in the sand I say. Excellent work!

Well stated, and very well rendered. Heres another thing to remember yes many innocents died in 911 and yes innocents will die in a war along with the non-innocents and the difference is that we the US make a distinction between the two................................................Stand proud people they can say what they want yet the truth remains

I agree. We must never forget 9-11 and always remembers that we DID NOT start this war, but WE MUST finish it to protect the lives of INNOCENTS everywhere. In Afganistan, we freed a country that has been oppressed for decades, saving the lives of untold thousands. Bin Laden threatens innocents everywhere, not just the United States. Iraq has had over a decade to meet the United Nations guidelines regarding chemical weaponry. Diplomacy has failed. The sword must be drawn in the defense of all that is right and holy. My God what over you and your in the coming months ahead.

Jesus never said that men should go to war and kill other men. Those who will be killed in the Irak aren't those who are responsible for 911. Those who cry hello here aren't those who will be there and fight. Those who cry loudest are those who get entertained by the war news on CNN. Why shall go d bless the USA? Why not the whole world? The bible is not only the old testament. Revenge is OLD...

Let me tell you one thing. I don't watch damn TV. It depresses me. And another thing buddy I have lost family memembers in war. Don't give me this crap. Entertainment out of death? Please I cry when a dog is killed. I hate killing, revenge is old in the bible? Well exactly what will it be when God returns with his warriors? What is that will be fought between the evil and God? A chess game? Read revelations dude. Get a grip. War is part of life. Nobody actually loves it. And I have friends OVERSEAS. If you can't read my words correctly then don't read them at all. I am no child but a grown woman. Damn right I proud of who and what I am. Just as everyone should be even those not from the USA. I gave opinions of many people. NOT just my own because infact you would NOT like my opinion. If you want my actual opinion over all this just email me. I will give you in detail what I think till then. As chat will say STFU. ~D.M.Ander~

Nice image... altho MANY are missing the point... War is a test of testosterone, & who has the nicest TOYS, with the knowledge of how to use them. I think Iraq is pointless, Saddam should have been killed the 1st time around... then there were MANY skirmishes leading upto this day again. Terrorism is terrorism... PERIOD !!!! Saddam is a terrorist... just like Osama... My views........ Thomas

(apology for incorrect english) Darkwhispers: Hey. Dude. Wings. Are. A lot. Better. Than. Flags. I can't put to words how much I like the way your idea for a picture has taken. The feel of freedom is much stronger now. It's possible to interpret ANY sense of pride and courage into it now, even though on a level inspired by modern western popular culture. She looks like a cheer leader in Silent Hill. I tell you again: You've got something different going here. Stick to that thought.

Try this one: God bless the another 100.000+ Iraqi that will die in a third Gulf war. Or the 4000 civilians that were killed in Afganistan since the USA began the war there. Or the people of the many dictatorships that the USA supported and still support with money, weapons and military training. The USA is not the only country god should bless. 197 other countries also have their gods. Don't forget this.

Hey Shonyu, I think your numbers are a little inflated there, some Iraqi people will die as will some Americans, but they will be free of their tin horn scumbag dictator! I'm sorry if I sound arrogant, but the cost of freedom always seems to be measured in American blood...Bush is a bumbling fool, but no American President in history has made me more proud, a year from now Iraqis will be building schools... Great pic darkwhispers, It's beautiful and thought provoking, a work to be proud of... keep renderin, JD
