Very unusual. Did this tree actually grow around what looks like a metal? As for making it more expressive, I might try coloring just the metal.

i'd just get a real tight cropped shot of it with enough contrast & detail to show it off... i believe the image on the right (w/ building) shows more of what this tree has done & if you can get around those first bars... you can get a lot more help in the photo forum from ppl who know more then i

are those both the same tree? or is it two trees? at frist i thought it was the same tree from a dif angle but the bars are missing in the fisrt one. would like a shot from down the bar, the side rather then the front.

wwowo, I thought you made it. The red colour makes them look like flesh, like monsters!!!

Personally my friend - I think the two shots of this amazing phenomenon are perfect the way they are - just as you photographed it - then added some eerie color. Your expression of the strange coloring only accentuates the strangeness of the tree and bar. It is quite obvious, (at least to me) that this is the same tree, just photographed from opposite sides, and a slightly different angle. This must be a real tourist attraction, and it really illustrates how nature can overgrow anything man-made if left unencumbered. This is one fine photo and very well presented - I wouldn't change a thing - too much interference will only distract from the uniqueness of both the event and the images. An excellent job Anthony.
