Description

This is my first serious attempt at using Poser and Bryce. And very nearly my last! What was I thinking! 17 Poser figures, 14 new boolean objects, untold dozens of cloud spheres. The Bryce file is 176 meg and took over 4 hours to render. Yikes! The hair and "clothes" were post-rendered in Photoshop. It's my rendition (or should that be "render-ition") of a c. 1612 painting by Rubens. It depicts the Greek myth about Ganymede, a youth of such exceptional beauty that Zeus sent an eagle down to bear him up to Mount Olympus to dwell with the gods as their cup bearer. Pretty cushy job, huh? ;^)

your great taste in greek myth and a animal stone cold patience can make great works like this. I hope people take notice of the comical scene that's happening on the background after seeing your master work with the 4 models in front. =)

This is EXCELLENT!!! :) Wonderful work, don't let the time it takes stop you! A little tip, do what you want in the background as one picture. Then import it as a background picture in poser and do the forground.

Oh my god(s)! This is beautiful, and it always catches my eye when people use myths for story material. Very painterly feel, gorgeous colors and composition.
