Description

This is Raven, a character I've been playing with off an on for the last week or so. The image is done in a kind of "promotional poster" design (hence the big empty space at the right to put in the promotional mumbo-jumbo lol) to promote nothing in particular. Mainly, I wanted to try out some mood lighting ideas I had, then apply some Photoshop post-work and see what I could do with it. This is actually the second test version of the pic -- the original was in full colour, with a kind of dark red hue. Looks great in Photoshop, but for some reason the gradients look choppy in any other program. Go figure. Rendered in P4, post-work in Photoshop.

Noooo....she doesnt frequent the halls of the Renderosity dungeon......she OWNS them!!! This is WAY cool!!! Beautiful lighting, facial expression, depth, almost evil darkness.......I love it!!! Can't wait to see more of her! Kudos!!! ~ Sacred

Well, the above comments speak for me as well. The face is beautifully constructed, the expression is wonderful, and the lighting conveys the mood perfectly. IMHO this is professional quality work. My only criticism would be to work on making the hairline a bit softer.

Excellent piece of work..!!I like the oriental flavor..nice composition as well..sometimes you can correct banding problems with a little "soft" texture set at a very low level in PhotoShop...Great work..!!.......thanks
