even though I am Canadian, this tragedy touches me as well... I sat in my classroom watching the broadcast on television when the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded upon takeoff in 1986, and now again, my heart breaks for those heroic, brave souls who lost their lives in the name of scientific advancement this morning. This is my way of expressing my condolences and grief, and to those who perished abord the columbia shuttle.... God speed....

Very warm tribute. Blazing any new frontier always has its' casulties, and it is always a very sad thing. I also saw the Challenger tragedy when it happened, and was also watching the news when the astronauts burned up in the testing phase prior to a launch.

My heartfelt sorrow to all of those involved with the crew and flight of such a wonderful shuttle. Columbia's staff, the astronaut's families, all of NASA's and Israeli's people that were involved in making this successful mission possible. Great use of the background images, kudos!
