Description


Series of photos taken of some very fragile stuff I found along side a trail. If anyone knows exactly what this stuff is, please let me know. Temperature just above freezing, stuff disappears when you breathe on or touch it. (some kind of crystalized ice?)

Well, I think the moisture from inside the tree is freezing, and as it expands it's being forced through the branch...only thing I can think that would cause this. It seems to only happen to semi-rotted wood.
