My real name is Thomas McCann, I was born in Buffalo N.Y. in October 1952. I currently reside in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia U.S.A.,........I attended the Maryland School of Art and Design and studied Fine and Commercial art. I began working in traditional media at age 7 (mainly pencil sketches), then worked with watercolors and arcylics in high school. I started working with digital media about 11 years ago (1996), using Metacrations "Detailer", a 3D paint application. I currently use mainly Bryce 6.1 and Cinema 4D 8.1 and 3D Studio Max 4.2 for modeling and tweaks. I am currently learning Rhino and Zbrush. Thanks for your attention.

Wow, a realistic landscape. Beautiful soft light effect. The cat is seamlessly integrated. Those ground mats are astoundingly real. Beautiful patches on the background landscape. Congrats on such a successful image.

This is superb!! - the lighting and warmth have me longing for the summer! :) - compositionally, I think its nicely balanced to draw the viewer in and along the path, but this could be enhanced further by taking more of the sky out - about halfway between the current top border and the top of the right tree! :)

Perfection! We had a white cat once, named "Snowball" she was a fierce mouser! Even being white (With a bell around her neck we gave her) she still slaughtered birds like wheat before the scythe! Wonderful image, makes me miss the old farm(s)...
