BIOI started working with CG-graphics in all kinds of demos when I was about 8 years old.. I'm now 17 and has settled on the programs Photoshop and Vue Esprit. I've got XFrog 3.5 which I use to create my vegetation.
I also play music. I sing, play the guitar and the trombone. Spring 2005 I recorded a few numbers and mixed them on my computer. You can listen to a few tracks on my website,
I've got my own website. Here you can find a lot more info on me, more tutorials, free models, some of my own music, etc. Feel free to visit :)

very realistic me likes it a lot
Cerpher
Wow! Looks real. :) The laundry and a few other things don't though. Probably cuz of the textures. But that's nothing compared to the entire image. :) Great work.
mafenther
Looks pretty good. But the clothing could have worked out a lot better.

It looks really nice Thomas... I think the bump on the ground is too much. Everything else looks great!
thomaskrahn
IT isn't a bumpmap. It's lots of small rocks :)
Djeser
THOMAS! How great to see you tackle something new and very different! I think this turned out extremely well. POV, texturing really good; those are all rocks on the ground? You're nutz! (I'd have used a texture...too many polys for me, lol) Anyhow, great job on this. Congrats!

Deevee : I would very much like to know excactly what is wrong with the laundry. Thanks for the feedback :)
linkinpark
Maybe Im blind but I dont see anything wrong,I think it is top notch work, amazing realism as always!!!!

The laundries are all square sized, not the usual shirts, pants kinda things ... I guess! But, they are not unusual. I give it a perfect 10. Superb! ... love to see a tutorial on this.

Nice one thomas, but then again I+m a real sucker for houses. The laundry maby should be in softer tones, "pastelcolours" And lose the black one. I think every thing else work very well together. Oh and I noticed your last instant mess, Its nice to know that all that talent isnt going to waste.
deevee
Since my last reply was deleted I will try again !since you asked me specifically. The laundry is wrong because it is stiff, and hard looking, and not soft and flowing. They are blowing in different directions, some to the right and some to the left, if the same wind is affecting them this cannot be right. DeeVee

Great work Thomas. Your talent is incredible!!! Shadows are IMHO too strong (Id try 80-70% of shadow intensity), anyway, it is cool scene.
Mikeangelo
I think that's a really great scene, and for a first in that type, with that amount of excellent detail, very well done. I've been playing around with similar ideas myself, and it aint easy. Dave

Nice POV and lovely colors...cant wait for summer =)

Excellent scene , textures and light
aken_aton
I think that it's awesome! I REALLY like the Ivy/plants that are on the side of the top wall. I'd love to know how to do that!!
thomaskrahn
Aken Aton : The Ivy was really easy to create. I just created a normal ruralmaple and rescaled it vertically so it became flat. Pretty simple :)
Dani36
wonderful exellent picture :-)
RenderDuo
The Ivy Effect is still Excellent! Perhaps the "wrong" thing with the laundry is, that when wind blows, all of the laundry have to swep into one direction?.. However, creating an absolutely other picture in this quality IS quite excellent! ...ts ts ts a rural vertically... thats what makes the different between good and excellent!
borsy
Excellent image!!

I like it a lot, especially the ivy. I think it's okay for the laundry to be blowing from different directions, because it does that when whipped from the side against the edge. My only thought would be that the laundry looks a little stiff, but that's probably the limitations of the object itself....don't know what you used here, so can't say, but just my thoughts. I used to help my grandmother hang her wash on the line. It took her all day to heat the water, wash, hang, and then gather it in. This brings back memories. Oh, did I say I loved the ivy...LOL Did you flatten trees for that? I've done that for ground cover but never thought to do it for ive. Anyway, it's all very innovative and COOL. Excellent job.
bobbystahr
nice trick on the ivy/maple thing, very innovative, shows good vision, and don't worry about the laundry, out here on the prairies in Canada the wind SWIRLS around and you'll often see ,for a split second, the laundry all akimbo...good work

Another fantastic image to you gallery Thomas! I love everything about it and the only thing I will say about the laundry is, they must all be towels and soft pastels would be lovely. Bravo!!!! 10++

Great job Thomas! But next time throw in some lingerie - and as they say, any colour as long as its black. lol
keeba17
awesome thomas, great pov:) and textures are the bomb. do u reckon u could do a fountain scene :), anyway excellent image. 10 ++++++++++++++++++++++++
raffyraffy
Excellent work of light. You are a small "monster" :-)
Alexander_Kroener
Wow, excellent use of plants and textures! About the laundry: I think you could improve it by making it less regular, e.g., adding a Poser T-Shirt, some pants or so. Anyway an impressive pic.
IceRain
yes this is really special! i like the angel and the excellent composition with the boolean objects in this one! the vine on the wall is outstanding! how you do made this? :)
