Description

I'm not familiar with this kind of render (my first real seascape), so comments are welcome! water/surf is not really good in foreground, maybe you have ideas for improvement :) the coastline was postworked to get rid of strange "black shapes" tfv

I think it's an excellent work. You can try to corret the triangles of the shoreline with a paint programm with a photo repair tool . Sorry, I dont know the right name of the tool in English.

How'd you get the patterns in the sand? The surf is a bit too big, IMO. Very nice stuff!

@SoundChaser: the sand waves texture on the shore is an overlay

wonderful terrain and pov, pretty good strata (what about "bending" it a bit?). imho the sand is brillant! and... well, I couldn't give any hint for the surf cause I'm still "fighting" with the plugin ;-), so imho it's excellent, too :))

This is fantastic work! I really feel the fresh air in my nose and take some deep breaths when looking at this picture .. just wonderful realistic atmosphere :-) Technically: Sky is fantastic (so simple and perfect in the coloring), Ground/sand is brilliant with that overlay and I think you could even make it brighter but that is not nessary, The strata is very realistic, Water is perfect colored and the waves are excellent ... yes the surf is a bit strong in closeup (but as engineer says I also still can not control WW even though it is such a brilliant plugin). If you make a version 2 then please keep the surf .. that is one of the "musts have" for a beach picture. No doubt an excellent picture!!

This is incredible, I don't know how I can describe it, it looks like a real coastline, where the coast goes off into the distance as far as the eye can see.... Perfect
