Description
Modelled in MAX and rendered with Vray. I'm quite happy with this image but your comments are welcome.

Sweet!

perfect. I like the light and everything but mostly the clouds: they are 3d clouds like in real !

Speaking as someone who deals with airliners everyday, this is an excellent job :)

very nice... what would look nice too is have the camera looking kinda down on it as it passes over the liquid jade water of Tahiti... but very nice as it is too...

Well you have to. One thing, front windows of closer airplane is black, thats probably ok, but it should be shinning on left side, it seems you used black material, or just texture for it. give shinines to windows. H.

WAY OUT THERE IN STYLE... OUT IN THE WIDE BLUE THAT IS... I LIKE IT VERY MUCH. It makes me ache to go for a fly somewhere.

This is a really seemless composite. I assume the ski is an enviornment map? Really excellent lighting. My only critique is that the engines look a little like minitures. I think it is because the reflections there are not happening as effectively as on the body of the plane (which is outstanding!)
SRAM
how high are they?

Thanks for all your comments. And yep - the sky is an environment map.

Really good pic! Cool lighting etc.!

Masterful use of light. If I were to be ultracritical, I say a little more grain would blend the foreground plane in with the photo more effeciently, and maybe a little less blue tint on the underside. Perhaps a hint of jet exhaust would make the image more alive. Great work.
