I have only been working with Bryce 5 for a week or so but I know I am addicted already. This is just one of my first weird creations, hope you like it. Comments & Critisicm is welcome, I am always trying to get better.

Good work and welcome to the CG family, I myself havent used my Bryce 5 yet, But I hope to by the end of this week. like to see more of your work here in the near future, I love Orbs and cant wait to see you make a mass number of them metaballed together to form a I'm sure to be striking end result. I'm still using Bryce 4 (no metaballs) but I can see how they can be used to create some very interesting images. I like how the textures blend into one another. Great job on your first... looking forward to many more. Welcome, friend.

the most fun thing about metaballs is that the textures blend as well. this is a really god example of that :) bryce is an awesome program, and from what i've seen, you're learning to push its limits already :)
