Description

This rendering is the second from the bridge of the S.S. Prospero (the first is "Mars Approach"). Here we see the view into the aft of the bridge. To one side of the main access door is a small bathroom. On the other side of the main door is a briefing/planning area. Today, the Prospero is still in drydock orbiting the Earth, awaiting her first shakedown voyage. John Gatson takes his duty station for the very first time. Alone on the bridge, he takes a few moments to drink in the background sounds of this wonderful ship of exploration.
