Description
In a hidden pocket of the Pacific Ocean is a little island named the Island of Storms. Here, violent storms rage day and night, and the locals believe they are summoned by an ancient tree which they've called 'Enjaruba' - meaning 'storm king'. They believe that a god is trapped within the tree, and in his rage to escape he fuels the storms, for there is never a moment of calm on the little island. Local fisherman have tried to cut down Enjaruba in an attempt to cease the constant storms, but he is protected by water on all sides. The few who have tried to tear him from his grassy throne have never been heard from again.

I discovered your wonderful imaginative works. I am impressed with your style and graciously use of color an form. The story attached to this image is this based on a real legend or one of your own. If real I'd for one would be interested in knowing where it is from. Thanks
