WAY TO GO!!!!!!!! This is incredible....(the image not the fact that you won....LOL) Super image, and is there a large one we can look at? This looks SO good. I think it's great when we can share our triumphs and our tragedies...more like a family that way. I guess if we can't do it in the forums, then maybe we can do it this way. :O)

I just wanted to say thanks to all those who bothered to comment. When I began posting here, I must say it was not the most comfortable feeling. I got the impression that this was a very hostile and unfriendly forum. I guess that after posting over 4250 posts at ZBrush Cerntal I was spoilt. This image was posted on the 19th of January 2003,so if you go to my gallery you can see a full size version of it. Once again thanks. Joe.

Belated congrats, DeeVee. A well deserved accolade.(sp?) I definitely don't find the scene boring. I find it relaxing. It is so hard as an artist to bring all the elements together in an image to make it believable and appealing to the eye. You worked this image evenly and masterfully. But I guess that is why you got chosen for the award, because you obviously know your way around the canvass. I hope you celebrated responsibly ;) Have a good one DeeVee!
