Description

"I followed the lead of the candlelight that you have left and felt my way into the mirror. I cannot throw away the tears gathered in the lap of my skirt out there beyond the mirror where the white birds drop their droppings from the apple-tree boughs. I cannot hear the pipe of the small blind boy that come out of the mirror with a candle crying on a spring night. His lips have grown stiff and numb and his fingertips have grown so sore they cannot stop the pipe holes any more. One day a hurled stone shattered the mirror into a thousand broken crystals. The cane was burned to cinders; and so I cannot let it guide me outside beyond the mirror where spring snow is softly falling." ~ poem by Hosung Chong ~ ~ tfv Nellie ~

Such a beautiful picture, but a sense of such sadness that overwhelms the heart from the words. Remarkable how you always seem to choose the words to match the mood of the picture. You have a talent for poetic works. I hope you always continue to look outside that crystal, for joy is always present in loving hearts. Excellent! -Sea Crystal :)
