I am sorry but I must disagree you did a better job on your other retouches. You also did better with the tree than the figure.I see you used the cloning tool a bit too much and badly. You still could see the strocks on the leg. would have been better if done with a tablet with pressure at 27% and the new face looks blown-up

Looks like a tough project. The computer is so hard on images sometimes, but I must agree with serge. The child looks a bit doll like in the fixed up version. Personally I don't even know how to use the clone tool. The trick I use is to copy a small area and paste it over the discolored spot. but I this case it would take forever.

retouching images like this can be one of the most tedious jobs, but the most rewarding. Especially when you return it to the original owner of the photograph and see the expression on their face when a loved one has been brought back to life. Great cropping to get rid of excess tattered edges. Although I can see where you repaired the image and in some spots rather obvious. However I respect anyone that goes after doing an image that is in as bad shape as the original. Keep it up, well done! ~regards Mel
