Description

the beginning of a still life I'm making, I know the table & cloth suck right now, but just look @ the apple, and I'll get around the other things later (being as it's a school night) thanks for lookin, and tell me what you think so far. (if you want, gimme a 1-10 rating on how real my apple looks, I want to know exactly how far I have to go...thanks everyone)

Looks great so far, but the bite area needs work. The exposed flesh should be more bumpy and glistening (wet look - try increasing specularity), and the skin at the edge of the bite should look slightly torn; right now the edge is a little too clean. The rest of the apple looks in good shape. Maybe the stem needs to be more rounded at the tip and curved in one direction, but that's not a major issue.

i would also add a bump map to the bite area the inside of the apple should look dunno sorta crumbly...maybe a small fractal noise texture...otherwise the apple colors on the outside are outstanding--keep it coming
