Description
One of the worst recurring nightmares from childhood was about the escalators at St James railway station in the heart of Sydney. The are far too long and far too steep, especially to small eyes and they used to terrify me.
Created in PS 7 for this month's theme on the 2D forum.

This is how imagines shall work: a little hint about something way beyond the mere sense of themselves. You explained the fear of mystery and tomorrow, and at the same time the capturing feeling of ongoing life, perfectly through this.

This is a great visual description of both the space & the fear associated with it, the use of just the shadow is really effective & I love the powerful effect of the escalator ending so abruptly.

Oh yeah, this is cool! Great work... I absolutely love the thought behind this image. Kudos:D

The perceptions this conjures up are wonderful for the strength of them, and eerie too, for the realness. I feel small looking at the image, and don't know whether I'm about to tip off right into nothingness, or go down and down forever on stairs that look neverending. Great job:D

s great, it
s excellent !!!!!!!Synapse
I can see the way Meli interpreted this, and it's fitting and appropriate... none of us knows what's gonna happen next. A good image, and... have you ever played (or at least seen) HalfLife? Level 8 of this game is basically a subterranean rail network, populated by soldiers and bizarre aliens, all hostile naturally. The feel of your image bears an uncanny resemblance ;-)
