Greetings Brycers!
Here's my latest installment to the Bryce gallery. This picture is a semi-replica (SEMI) of the Eilean Donan Castle in Doonie, Scotland. There are minor things missing but in general I tried to get that aged-castle feel. The entire scene was done in Bryce with the only postwork being jpeg compression. I used a brick texture I found on a google.com search for the walls. I hope you enjoy this image!

I like it. I've got a picture almost exactly like this, but tghe weather wasn't so fine. Now for the critic, the island on which it stands is much smaller, you could try to reduce it. Appart from that, good picture.

I really like the castle, it looks terrific. IMHO, if you tinkered with the lighting a little more, you might be able to make this an even better picture.

This is excellent. Just the detail in the island with the castle is success in and of itself, but to put that in a valley with the beautiful surroundings you made, well, you did a remarkable job.

An excellent render, in particular for the format (although I would've liked it a bit bigger) and for the composition. The castle in the center, so small, give a huge immensity feeling to the mountains around. Overall a top pic.

Everything looks fantastic on this. Except for the far mountain (the green one) with the snow on it. I used to live in Alaska and with a mountain that distant the green is too bright, should be darker. Other than that you did awesome on this!!!

Love it! Youv'e combined those different mountains excellently. Of course building structure completes the whole pic. I only wish it was a bit bigger of a render.

Absolutely fantastic!! I really like this picture. The depth of field is so pronounced that I feel I could actually walk out on the bridge to the castle.

unbelievable detailed scene. it looks like terragen, and to achieve this in bryce is quite not easy.
