Description

I guess I could have done the background better in any one of a number of other packages... I just wanted to see if I could emulate the effect in Vue! :)

This kind of scene is extremely complex to build and making it look good is neraly impossible... however you've managed to make a fantastic pic. The aurora looks fantastic!

Hey, this is really cool. I love the lights. (I almost said Northern lights and then remembered penguins are at the South Pole.) Are there Southern Lights, too? The ice and water are also super.

linwhite: there are indeed Southern Lights... they are called the 'Aurora Australis'. They tend to get seen or mentioned a lot less simply because so few people live in Antarctica during the austral winter! They are just as spectacular as their Northern cousins, though!
